Become an ETC Associate

When you have years of business experience, you can do more than get a better job. You can turn your expertise and background into a career dedicated to helping small business owners become profitable and successful.

Executive Training and Consultancy Ltd (ETC) is a well-established and credible business consultancy, and we’re looking for like-minded consultants to become an ETC Associate. As an associate, you’ll become part of the ETC team, helping to grow your own business and contributing to an expanding network of growing companies.

Clients can be assigned to you, or you can focus on generating your own for additional rewards; ETC will train and support you to do both.

Training, ongoing support and mentoring

As an ETC Associate Consultant, you’re never alone. We believe in supporting our associates, helping them achieve their own goals as well as contributing to ETC’s success.

Initially, we’ll provide you with induction training so you can get to grips with the ETC programmes and our proven approach. This induction includes:

  • Training in how to deliver ETC’s consultancy programme
    • Three days in the classroom and then in the field with clients (2-3 months)
  • The paperwork needed to deliver
  • ETC business cards
  • An ETC email address
  • A posting on the ETC website listing you as an Associate Consultant
  • Marketing materials
  • One year’s membership of BNI (for networking and developing business)
  • Administrative support including invoicing, credit control and diary management
  • Coaching and mentoring based on the ETC Momentum programme, and geared to your personal goals

After the initial training, you will receive regular one-to-one mentoring sessions. You are also invited to a quarterly sales meeting with your fellow associates.

Administration

We believe associates should focus on generating business and satisfying clients with a delivery that exceeds their expectations.

To this end, ETC provides administrative support throughout the delivery process. ETC manage invoicing and fee collection from clients. We will also issue you with a monthly fee statement reflecting the receipts from your clients in the previous month, and for which you will invoice ETC.

We will also help manage your appointment diary, including adding important follow-up dates that are an integral part of the delivery process.

Clients and fees

ETC Associate Consultants are encouraged to generate their own clients. When a prospect signs up to one of ETC’s established, proven programmes, you’ll receive 80% of the fee.

For any clients provided to you by ETC, you’ll receive 50% of the fee. This may require you to attend a meeting with a prospective client to ensure mutual suitability before the deal is completed.

Timescales

The training starts with a three-day classroom-based training, then continues by shadowing the delivery to actual clients, until ETC is satisfied you can successfully deliver its programmes on your own. This usually takes up to three-months after the initial training, but may take longer depending on individual circumstances.
